Hi Nigel.

We do not know if it is full. Only Trillium can tell you. Events usually sell out quickly as there are very few of them.

Good luck getting Rolf to respond quickly.
I honestly can't say if they are full but I would not hold much hope in having room available. The June school is quite popular.

I am going there for Fri, Sat, Sun.

anyone going to mosport june 4-5 with the trillium bmw club?I'll be there, too. I've committed to instruct for the full 3 days...it looks like I might be spending most of the weekend in the car control area.

We should plan a little caravan. BTW, has anyone made hotel reservations yet?

You can make online reservations at http://www.hojo.com.
It is actually cheaper than the BMW Club group rate.
I got mine done.

Good luck sliding your Evo at the car control area. If its dry you will not go anywhere sideways. Unless you give your car to Doug Beatie. :) Then start calling your favorite tire shop.

July 4 to 6 is Trillium chapter's event. I hear they are underbooked and still register students. So if you could not not make it for BAB7, then perhaps you could drive with Trillium chapter. Many of us won't attend their events as they do not accept unlicensed/uninsured track cars.

Yikes!
Watch out for warpage of space and time with that guy. He eats GT3 Cup cars for breakfast with proper tires.

I will be at Tremblant on July 4,5,6 also.

These weekday events are always tough to fill.

Many of us won't attend their events as they do not accept unlicensed/uninsured track cars. They don't seem to be following that rule anymore. Their Mosport event was FULL of dedicated track cars and unregistered race cars. After all that crap about "no racecars" and turning off everyone in the hobby, they've obviously come to realize the whole thing ridiculous. All they've done is hurt themselves by keeping real enthusiasts away from their schools. It looks like they realize that and are now quitetly back-tracking.

They had track only cars on friday. On Saturday/Sunday every car had to be registered and insured. There was no other rule. Some of the cars were only street legal in the sense that they were registered with the DMV and had a plate. The rule is still there.

Maybe one day they will see the light. Insurances will not (most of the time) cover your accident anyway. If you are involved in a car accident with another car, then we have an event liabilty insurance for drivers, workers and organizers.

There is obviously an hidden agenda behind their rules. As with certain other chapters.

Hi everyone!

Sorry to resurrect such an old thread, but I thought some of you might want to see some more pictures.. I finally blanked the plates and uploaded the pics on my website. You can see them at http://www.kernel-panic.net/gallery/view_album.php?set_albumName=Mosport-20050603

I also took a bunch of pictures with Andrei's camera but I think most of them weren't good.. Andrei, any chance we could look at those (or are they all bad?) ?
