From reading evo magazine and watching Fifth Gear & Top Gear, it's pretty clear that UK drivers get the shaft in terms of speed cameras and all that. However, there do seem to be some advantages to being a car nut in the UK. Check this out:

19 circuits on that tiny island! And this doesn't even include all those airfiled circuits, the Top Gear test track, etc. Throw in all those unrestricted country roads in Wales and on the Ilse of Man. Wow.

which one is the fifth gear test track?None of them (it's not on that map). Many private circuits and airfield courses are not represented. These are just the formal racetracks.

I found it the fifth gear track is anglesey :)Sorry! I misread your post. I thought you were asking about the Top Gear test track. That one is an abandoned airfield. The Fifth Gear crew does almost all of their testing on the Anglesey Circuit. So does evo magazine, BTW.

I was re-watching the episode with the exige 240r and carrera S, and they mention the track is anglesey... quoting Tiff. "it's a track that we really love, it's full of tight twisty bends, with little room for error and it really rewards the good handling cars... unlike some airfield circuits I could mention".

major BURN!

I also recently noticed that south of Spain already has 3 F1 certified tracks. Barcelona, Jerez, and Seville. And construction started on a fourth one near the border with Portugal.

I know where I will retire. That is better than southern Florida.
