Please help: 325xi 2004 heater not blowing air but fan sound o.k.

The heater is not blowing any hot/cold air in the car... I can hear the fan noise going up when i increase the fan speed... I also have a little burnig smell in the car...
Please help it's freezing cold !!! Thank you in advance!

Verify that the little wheel is positioned to red.
Verify the water valve is working.
