What do you think of this Z3???

Hello guys, I'm looking at a Z3 for sale, it's a 1998 from Florida and it has a 2.8 engine but....140,000 miles (225,000 kilos) The car is looking great, woman driving it, but do you think the milleage is an issue? What are those engine good for without main trouble?

The M52 is a strong engine. It depends if it's been well maintained.

How are you going to get the car from florida to here? Importing a US BMW is expensive. A lot more then one from Ontario.

At that mileage, I would suggest trying to find a canadian car.

Yeah importing a US BMW is a pain in the ass compared to other brands.

Personally I find the 2.8 underpowered. The 3.0L power plant on the other hand is a rocket... Those Z3s are pretty stout, I am sure the roof did leak at some point and the water pump did fail.

My father is selling his 97 Z3 2.8 with a little over 60 000 kilmeteres. Never winter driven. Brand new h&r springs and bilstein shocks with poly control arm bushings. Let me know if you are interested.
