Good luck with your M3 search. It is a wonderful car and everyone knows that. Tough to get a good price, even on heavily used ones.

yes i know, i'm not in a hurry. it's just to have as a track car. i will most likely have a 2005 M3 for the road in a few weeks.:D

I haven't seen any good ones for sale in Quebec. Good ones are very expensive and bad ones are money pits! Are you a member of the BMW CCA? There are usually some E30 M3's listed in the callifieds at the back of their Roundel magazine. That might be a good place to start.

Also, now that E30 M3's are older than 15 years, you can import one from Europe. I know Will Zaraska and Lee Vuong have imported Euro cars in the past. Maybe you should contact them to see if they can help you. Last time I spoke with Will, he mentioned that he had a line on an immaculate Italian market "320is" which is basically a 2.0 liter S14 drivetrain in a Euro 325is chassis. It's got the cool M-Tech II body kit and everything. Might be worth checking out!

my search is stagnating a bit but Lee is a very good friend of mine so i 0know all about the possibilities of importing one from Europe,and i'm thinking about it. I found about three very nice ones in Germany. but lately i'm travelling way too much to dedicate the apropriate time to adopting an E30 M3 right now.

it's still the car that i want though. But i really want one all original, those are hard to find in Europe.

Lee has told me a lot about you, can't wait to meet one day.
