Départ:
9h00 (arrivez avant !) McDonald's, coin Le Corbusier et Boul. St-Martin à Laval (Sortie St-Martin Est de l'autoroute 15)

Itinéraire:
Nous prendrons l'autoroute 15 Nord jusqu'à l'autoroute 640 direction Ouest.
Nous poursuivrons l'autoroute 640 jusqu'à Oka pour prendre la 344 direction St-André d'Argenteuil.
À St-André d'Argenteuil nous allons poursuivre sur la route 327 Nord jusqu'à Mt-Tremblant Village.

Arrivée:
Mt. Tremblant Village pour un bon Diner

Détails:
La balade au complet prend environ 3hrs. La route 327 est longue, sinueuse et "divertissante". La route a été un peu endommagée à cause de l'hiver dernier mais demeure néanmoins une superbe route à découvrir. Conjoint(e)s, enfants et ami(e)s sont tous bienvenues.

BMW Quebec Summer Drive
Saturday August 2nd

Start:
9:00 am (be there before !) McDonald's, corner Le Corbusier and St-Martin in Laval (St-Martin Exit East of Hwy 15)

Itinerary:
We take hwy 15 North up to hwy 640 West.
We take hwy 640 West all the way to Oka to take route 344 to St. André d'Argenteuil.
From St.André d'Argenteuil we switch to route 327 North and drive it all the way to Mt. Tremblant Village.

Finish:
Mt. Tremblant Village for a nice lunch.

Details:
The whole ride takes about 3hrs to complete. Route 327 is long, twisty and "entertaining". The road has been a bit damaged by our last winter but it's none the less a very nice road to discover. Spouses, kids and friends are welcomed.

Je tiens aussi à souligner que la balade est ouverte aux voitures autres que BMW.

le vidéo marche pour moi. selon le vidéo, la route 347 reliant notre-dame-de-la-merci à St-Côme est nettement plus sinueuse, même si ce n'est toujours pas Tail of the Dragon... suggestion pour une prochaine balade?

Oui la 347 est en effet nettement plus sinueuse et a une plus belle surface aussi....mais la 347 ne prend que 10 min si j'm'en souviens bien tandis que la 327 prend 1h30-2h00.
Aussi j'dois mentionner que les meilleurs bout de la 327 n'ont pas été capturés sur vidéo parcequ'on était pris derrière un camion qui tirait un trailer...pas très excitant. ;)

Pour rester on-topic, j'ai pris la 327 récemment en partant de la 117 vers l'ouest (jusqu'à Lachute) et c'est effectivement une belle route.

Je ne sais pas encore si je me joindrai à la balade ou non.. A suivre.

a date, météo-média annonce 40% de pluie pour mont-tremblant. Donc il mouillera pas :p

Je devrais y aller et amener 1 ou 2 invités (mon pere et un de ses ami avec leurs miata :) )

Bon...on annonce des éclaircies et quelques averses dispersés pour samedi mais je crois que c'est surtout en fin de journée. Je crois que la balade devrait quand même avoir lieu surtout qu'il y a eu de la pluie tout l'été et si on se mets à annuler nos sorties à cause de prévisions de pluie....et bien on aura pas sortie de l'été !

Il n'y a pas de nombre minimum de participants....mais c'est sur que s'il n'y a que moi et une autre personne qui se pointe on discutera pour voir si ca vaut toujours la peine d'y aller. :p
Il n'est pas supposer de pleuvoir en avant-midi donc on se croise les doigts pour avoir une balade "sec" ! Mais sinon...un peu de pluie n'a jamais fait de mal à personne.

c'étais super !
Il a fait soleil tout le temps de la drive même quand il a mouillé :confused:. La route était vraiment belle et le fun a faire et presque pas de trafic ;) . Le retour m'a sembler plus long (par la 15) que l'aller même si ca descendait bien.

La prochaine ride, j'y vais !

I'll post pics as soon as I can...probably tuesday or wednesday. The ride was indeed alot of fun, the weather was on our side an so was the traffic, we've met some very good people and I think that I can speak for everyone there and say that we all had a blast ! :D
It's a shame that just a few people from the club could attend it. :o

On the way to Tremblant we got some heavy rain for about 5 min. but like Alex said, it was still sunny :confused: .
The really heavy rain came when we we're almost back in Montréal on hwy 15....very impressive stuff with lighting, thunder and maybe hail at some point...I was almost happy to be on the road just to experience such a downpour ! 90% of the traffic had to stop on the side of the road.
