Bonjour a tous,

I used to have H&R Sport springs and Bilstein Sport dampers plus stock swaybars on my E30. IMNSHO, that was the PERFECT suspension for an E30 that will see mostly street use. It's not too low and handles bumps with ease. Plus, it holds up very well on the track...not as fast as a full-blown J-Stock suspension, but very fun. And you don't go into kidney failure on the drive home ;)

I've never tried Eibachs on the E30, so I can't compare them to H&R Sports. But I found the H&R's were fine for daily driving in Montreal.

I've also got the Turner J-Stock suspension with Bilsteins Sports and love it. I actually don't find it that bad on the street. This being said, the car does not see winter duty and is used primarily as a track toy.

Emre,
Play nice.
What do you mean by front subframe cracking?
I haven't heard of this ailment yet.

Emre,
Play nice.
What do you mean by front subframe cracking? The front crossmember that holds the engine mounts tends to crack when you drive a no-compliance suspension (like our TMS stuff) on broken, pothole-laden city streets.
