Nobody ever told these drivers that locking the brakes and trying to turn at the same time simply don't work.

haha - I think that they wanted to stop their cars using their feet Flintstones style!
I do not see a valid reason for jumping out of a car in the middle of traffic unless they were heading towards a cliff
