Just finished a special project for a US customer. Nascar Brembo GTR calipers and custom aluminum mounts that fit 332mm rotors (32mm and 35mm) on any e30 M3 and e36 M3. Mounts are available for $600/pair. The ultimate caliper for the ultimate braking.

wow. I bet just one of those rotors and calipers would be enough braking for the entire car :D

Could they be modified to fit on an SER 2006 Altima ?
I know they do'nt make them Brembo to fit the SER.

These are Brembo GTR racing calipers. Not the very common Gran Turismo street components. These calipers are intended for race use. Anything can be fitted to any car, with the proper budget. Do you race the Altima or is it a street car. If it is a street car you might not need such calipers. also, how deep are your wheels. Wider calipers require way more clearance.

Thanks for the reply :)

Yes I do race with the car. I was at ICAR last saturday with you all.
Will be at tremblant on the 9 of august with the boston chapter and at calabogie on labour day weekend with CADL.

Tell me where to mesure for the depth of the wheels. The car runs on 18''
wheels. For racing I will be using 245/40ZR/18 R Compound BF Goodrich R1.
The Disks are 12.5 '' stock. This is a SER Altima model.http://i26.tinypic.com/1191gec.jpg

Unless you have another suggestion for the car ?

Thanks

Hi Pierre

By racing I meant road racing. Not the usual HPDEs and lapping days. I am pretty sure that we could find a more appropriate caliper that can be used on the street. The GTR caliper costs $2.2k per unit (and that is my cost) but can be found for $1000/pair off Nascar season. I suggest perhaps using a Wilwood SL6R caliper which is what we use on the white e46 racecar. It costs $375/unit and is very good. Or you could opt for Alcon's Mono6 at $1050/unit but the minimal rotor size would be 332mm.

Thanks Lee.

Is the Wilwood SL6R Caliper a product that you supply ? Is that a sales cost ? Is it worth the expanse, versus stainless steel brake lines and HP Hawk pads ?
For now what is the best pads to your knowledge for lapping ? I don't care about the noise, they would be for racing only.

Sorry about all the question,

SL6R is $375cdn each (sells $400usd down South) and is a great stiffy part. It requires radial mounts. Otherwise, Wilwood's Superlite is the best bang for the buck at around $180cdn and uses the same pad shape as the SL6R. Any manufacturer has pads for such calipers. Hawk's HT10, PF 01 or 97, Wilwood E or H compound, here'S a wide choice of pads.

Braided lines recommended.
