The ownership of Calabogie confirms shower/washroom facilities at the start of the year. Also there will be more curbing. Exit of Temptation is going to have some with can make for a faster exit (if you dare to).
Calabogie is already a first class facility and once they build all the infrastructure it would be simply amazing.
I also like the owner's approach. No fancy members only exclusiveness. The track is accessible to anyone who cares to rent it.

Interestingly, the track's "exclusive club" concept as proposed by iCar doesn't really reflect the reality of track business. Lime Rock Park is trying hard but it doesn't work, despite all the money surrounding them from NewYork or Connecticut. Why would it work with an airport flat track with no history? Maybe in a few years when the track has gained some equity and made a name. But not yet. Especially when a world class circuit is 50 minutes North...

I hear that LRP is trying hard, but from the outside, there seem to be just as many track days at LRP this year as last year. bmw-boston complains that they can't get days, but SCDA doesn't seem to have a problem. COM doesn't seem to have a problem. There are still plenty of races there. As far as I can tell, the exclusive club guys at LRP get the days they can't fill.

I am not too worried about lack of track time due to "country clubs" taking over. Some of those will not get enough members and will have no choice but to offer the track to outsiders. And some I never really cared to go to anyway.
If St Eustache tries to become a "country club" it would be a real hoot.
