ASC Light comes on and stays on WHY

I have a 1998 328IS and the dealer put in the speed chip and cold air and I just installed a new Dinan Throttle body everything went perfect, Until the ASC light comes on and stays on I cannot get it to go off, unless I turn off the car and restart then after a min or 2 it comes back on. Has anyone else experienced this problem? is it a software issue? any advise would be greatly appreciated
