Hi, some of you might know me from another forum, but I thought I would take this time to introduce myself to those that don't. Currently I am working on an E30 project that will hopefully be in running condition by May. I look forward in participating more in the activities since I will be terminating my M.Sc. thesis shortly.

Hi F|ame,

Yes, we certainly recognize you from MR.com. Welcome to the Club! Tell us more about this E30. If you have any pics or anything, let us know and we'll help you set up a personal gallery on this site.

Do you have plans to attend any track events with us? We have a bunch of cool stuff in store for this upcoming summer.

BTW, in what field are you pursuing your masters?

Emre

Well I am still working on her. Right now her body is having a major overhaul, there were some important rust issues, and that will soon be aleviated. She is also going to get a very nice paint job. Hopefully my friend will have that finished by mid May. In the interim another friend of mine is going to install the Bilstein Sport shocks and B+G springs I bought. But I have a question about the mounts. I hear you have to reuse the original ones, anywhere to get new ones? I am also going to look into the braking system and see how I can upgrade that. As well I will have a check over the car and replace bushings, wirings and other necessities. I want her fully functional by end of May. I definantly want to join in some trac events, but i dont want to book myself until I am 100% sure this thing is fully operational. There is also the question of where I will be... I am thinking of going to Ottawa which will allow me to remain somewhat close. I definantly want to be more proactive this year...

Then you will really enjoy the new track at Calabogie. It will not open before August. There will be an event in early August and in October. Plenty of time to sort your car out.

With regards to my masters I am doing an M.Sc. in Bioresource Engineering. This means I get the iron ring, even if I am not really an Engineer. I am doing my thesis on Sediment and Nutrient removal efficiencies using a pilot scale constructed wetland in southern Quebec. I enjoy the thesis, but I can't wait to be done.
