Even though I couldn't attend the vintage race, thanks to a missing radiator, I still went to Fall Classic to help my friends. Georges Motafis and his e36 M3 with Euro S50 was the contendr for the championship in GTU. Cherif and Serge in their 6 cylinder e30 M3 were doing their first vinrtage race, along with Phil Abrami in his S14 e30 M3. There was also a 1974 2002 driven by Alister from Toronto.

Cherif and Serge had vibration probblems. Taking the brakes apart, cleaning up and reassembling helped, but not much. I found that rotors were out of specs and had major run out. So, we went to Petro-Canada to have them turned. No mechanic on duty. Damn. I tried to install the rotors on the machine, but some parts were missing. So, we called Georges who managed to install the rotors on that machine. We turned to discs, installed them, and ran them. Problem solved. Strange problem as the rotors were brand new.

Georges ran his race without problem. Saturday was dry and sunny, but Sunday was very wet and proved a ground for carnage. Georges managed to end the race and won the GTU championship. Congrat Georges. Perhaps it is now time you get your Club Racing license now.
