They are still awaiting for permit approval from the government. It looks like the track won't be ready for 2005

The only date it might happen is middle of October. All earlier dates are cancelled as they still wait for approval. Should come in the next 6 weeks.

If they get their permit in six weeks (around mid July), and expecting 4 weeks to pave and 6 weeks to rest. Then our mid-October date is still a possibility.

isn't there a way to find an alternate site for october just in case?

or just an extra event

isn't there a way to find an alternate site for october just in case?Since it's a joint event with Ottawa, we'd need to check with them first. But maybe we can do an event at Shannonville or another one at Sanair.
